"A 42-year-old man from Corby received the penalty notice after returning to the UK from Poland on Friday (October 30). We were informed of the breach by our partners in Public Health England.
"Returning from a county not on the list means you must self-isolate for 14 days, otherwise it's a £200 fine when we come knocking."
There are currently 55 countries on the list where travellers arriving in the UK do not need to self-isolate, although Germany and Sweden are due to be removed at 4am on Saturday morning.
Poland was added to the quarantine line on October 3.
