After putting messages on social media, members of staff took the equipment out to those families across the north of the county who were most in need.

Managing director Carl Stairs said: "It's awful listening to how these kids are having to learn on mobile phones.

"We just put a message on the local FB page and before we knew it we'd managed to find homes for all 22 PCs.

"It's good to be able to help out a little bit."
