It follows Year 10 pupils being asked to stay at home on Monday (November 9) following a confirmed case of Covid-19 and the school closing its Year Nine bubble on Tuesday last week under similar circumstances.

A letter sent to parents about the latest case, which has been seen by the Northants Telegraph, said: "After a thorough investigation, we have identified all the students who have been in close contact with the person who has tested positive for Covid-19.

"A letter has been sent to these students and their parents informing them that they must self-isolate for 14 days."

And it went on to say: "The Year 11 Bubble is being deep cleaned today.

"If for any reason your child starts to display any Covid-19 symptoms, then you must act as previously advised and keep you child at home and let us know immediately."

Following the latest case affecting the Year 11 bubble, a concerned parent told the Northants Telegraph: "The school are doing a fantastic job and have been all the way through this.

"But we have to take the word of, I presume, the Public Health and Test and Trace people that our child has not been in direct contact with whoever has tested positive."

Wrenn School is part of the Creative Education Trust and has two sites in London Road and Doddington Road, Wellingborough.
