Expert staff including patient and continuing healthcare advisors, will be on hand to discuss any physical, social or mental health concerns patients may have.
During the drop-in session, an information board will be set up to provide specific education on falls prevention, including footwear and eyesight testing advice. Corby Urgent Care Centre will also offer blood pressure checks and health advice specific to the readings and measurements.
Recognising the important role of carers within the elderly community, there will also be opportunities to take part in a short carers assessment to ensure those who have caring responsibilities can access appropriate support and advice.
