Pupils at The Ferrers School have been given a new place to relax and recharge thanks to the Rotary Club of Rushden, which has donated a wooden bench to the school grounds.

The bench is intended to provide students with a quiet space away from the pressures of exams and daily school life. During the summer months, it will also serve as a spot for pupils to enjoy their packed lunches outdoors.

A plaque has been installed on the bench to acknowledge the Rotary Club’s contribution, ensuring the gift is recognised for years to come. School staff expressed their appreciation for the donation, noting that it will support student wellbeing and create a lasting legacy of community partnership.
