It is the second opening date announced on Priors Hall Park’s new District Centre, following the news last week that Sainsbury’s Local will be opening on February 10.

The team, which includes several locally-based staff that have worked in other nurseries across the area, say they have created ‘a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment that will give every child everything they need to grow, develop and prepare for school, providing their very best start in life.’

Centre director Claire Riley said: “We’re excited to be opening our 356th nursery in the UK here in Corby, and we cannot wait to welcome local families inside to safely have a look around.

“Choosing a nursery is a hugely important decision for parents. They want to find the best environment that is going to help their child develop and thrive in their earliest years, which can sometimes be overwhelming.

“Our nursery setting includes plenty of wonderful features to ensure children get the best start in life, from the garden to our creative play areas. We encourage families to register their interest now to find out more about the care and education we have to offer.”

The site is owned by Urban&Civic, which bought it from BeLa Partnerships after it ran into financial difficulties. Although residents have been waiting nearly a decade for their district centre, it is now progressing at pace.

Urban&Civic Development Director Nigel Wakefield said: “We’re delighted to welcome Busy Bees to Priors Hall Park.

“As we continue to grow and welcome new families to the Park, it is important that we canoffer all ages the best environments to learn, within walking distance of their homes.”
