The whole school community at Lodge Park Academy, part of David Ross Education Trust, is delighted to have won the ‘Educational Spirit Award’ at the Spirit of Corby Awards 2025.

Lodge Park was nominated for the award by an anonymous contributor who described LPA as “transforming the local landscape, committed to serving Corby youngsters” and "tirelessly improved its standing and educational quality”.

The awards and ceremony were organised by Corby Town Council to celebrate the organisations and people in Corby and highlight the “vibrant and thriving community” that residents are proud to belong to. Around 4000 people voted for those shortlisted in the awards, with Lodge Park winning the education award for “recently improving its standing and educational quality, achieving its best ever post-16 results.”

Lodge Park shared a video after being shortlisted for this award, narrated by staff and students who highlighted their passion for all the opportunities at school. The video celebrated Lodge Park’s lifelong learning approach for pupils and the transferrable life skills students gain, highlighting how students have the chance to shape their lives positively at the Corby school: Lodge Park Academy: The Spirit of Corby.
