Whittlebury Park is inviting families to help shape the future of its family experience with an exciting competition to design and name a brand-new woodland mascot.

The winning character will become the friendly face of Whittlebury Park’s woodland adventures, appearing across children’s activities, family trails, seasonal events, and storytelling experiences throughout the resort. Designed to spark imagination and create a stronger connection with nature, the mascot will play a central role in welcoming young guests and bringing the woodland surroundings to life.

The competition invites children to decide what kind of woodland creature the mascot should be, and most importantly, what it should be called. From a mischievous fox to a wise owl or an adventurous rabbit, the possibilities are endless. Young entrants can even draw their own version of the character, helping bring Whittlebury’s newest family-friendly figure to life.

The new mascot will feature in future campaigns, becoming a recognisable part of the Whittlebury Park story and a friendly face for visiting families. The winner could also see their design turned into a cuddly toy version. By involving children in its creation, the hotel hopes to build a character that truly reflects the imagination and spirit of its guests.

Zoe Edhouse, Commercial & Marketing Manager at Whittlebury Park, said: “We wanted to create something magical that families could genuinely be part of. This competition gives children the chance to shape a character that will represent Whittlebury for years to come. We are excited to see the creativity that comes in and to welcome the winning family for a very special stay.”

Families can enter by sharing their chosen animal and mascot name through Whittlebury Parks Facebook and Instagram pages, or by submitting an entry at the hotel itself. The competition closes on 8th March 2026, T&Cs apply.

The winning entry will secure a one-night family stay at the four-star hotel, offering the perfect opportunity for quality time together in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.
