The Rotary Club of Rushden’s Trolley Dash winners were Nigel and Ann Kirkpatrick who have recently retired from their Dental Practice in Rushden.
Nigel Kirkpatrick is leaving Saving Smiles in Rushden, formerly known as Queen Street Dental Practice, after 29 years at the practice.
Nigel has looked after generations of families over the last three decades and is sad to say goodbye.
He is saying goodbye to mums and dads whom he first saw as babies or children. They have come for all their lives and are now bringing their own children, which is really nice. There’s a lot of continuity.
Classic car enthusiast Nigel said he is now looking forward to retirement.
Nigel and Ann hurtled around the Waitrose Store in Rushden managing to load their Trolley with around £350 of produce, having done their ‘homework’ in knowing what they wanted and whereabouts it was in the Store! Entitled, in fact, to the full £500, Nigel donated the remaining £150 worth of selected produce to Rushden Food Bank which was amassed at the same time.
The Food Bank expressed their gratitude for this superb gesture.
