Mother’s Day happiness shared at Elm Bank care home
Residents at Elm Bank care home, in Kettering, celebrated Mother’s Day in style, with visits and video calls from family members near and far.
We shared a truly special Mother's Day, it was a day filled with smiles, song and so much warmth. It was beautiful to see the home full of family and friends, and it is now glowing with stunning bouquets and thoughtful gifts brought in by loved ones. Some residents enjoyed a sophisticated "Mother's Day Tea" in our private dining room while others shared a Mother's Day Tea in the comfort of their rooms. We topped off the celebrations with some truly lovely live music from Clare, and there is nothing like sing-along to bring all together to lift spirits.
General Manager, Larisa Bledea, said: “It was a beautiful day filled with so much love and happiness, and the afternoon music from Clare was just perfect. It was lovely to see so many family and friends come in and enjoy the day with us here at the home.”
