Massive gathering on day seven of Ramadan at Corby Central Masjid

Breaking the fast (iftaar) in a masjid (mosque) gathering during Ramadan is a significant, communal and spiritual reward that goes far beyond simply eating after a day of fasting. It symbolises unity and gratitude. It often brings families and friends together to strengthen their social bonds and sharing a meal.

But on the 7th Ramadan (Tuesday 24th February) the iftaar was arranged by the Muslim Community Chairman (Eyusuf Chaudhury) and the turnout was 237 guests coming from across the country and mainly locals.

A special thank you goes out to the volunteers for Ramadan 2026, which is the first time Corby Central Masjid have been blessed with a group of graceful and dedicated volunteers, such as: Musa Adam, Usman, Abdullah, Anis, Husayn, Saeid and others. They do this for free of cost towards the house of Allah (Masjid) to achieve more rewards.
