Lakelands Hospice hosts a ‘Bereavement support group’ to provide compassionate support to adults in Corby and the surrounding areas who are coping with the loss of a loved one.

The structured programme will run over six months and includes 12 sessions designed to offer a safe, welcoming space where participants can learn, share experiences, and grow while navigating their grief.

Sessions will take place at Lakelands Hospice, Butland Road, Corby, NN18 8LX, on alternate Wednesday evenings from 5.30pm to 7pm.

The initiative reflects the hospice’s ongoing commitment to supporting not only patients but also families and members of the wider community facing bereavement.

Cathy, Hospice Manager at Lakelands said: “Grief can feel incredibly isolating, and many people struggle to know where to turn after losing someone close to them. Our Bereavement Support Group offers a safe and understanding environment where individuals can share their experiences and realise they are not alone.

We are here for our community, and we hope this group will provide comfort, connection and practical tools to help people move forward at their own pace.”

The group is open to bereaved adults in Corby and nearby areas. Anyone wishing to join or find out more is encouraged to contact Cathy or Lynn on 01536 747859.
