It's all about the young people of corby.

Hazel-leys happening youth Club has been very busy leading upto the Christmas period. With lots going on for the children it's an expensive time of year, luckily the club has received a few generous donations from local organisations and clubs.

Thursday 5th of December Hazel-leys happening youth hub were invited down to the Masonic hall located in corby, to receive a very generous donation from the freemasons of corby. They were presented with a £1000 cheque from David Docherty and George peel, part of the Mark Master Masons, who personally nominated us for the donation. We had a tour of the halls and some in depth conversation about who they are and what they do.The amount of charitable work they do is commendable, from supplying TLC bears for every hospital, fire service and ambulance in the country to feeding the homeless, the list is endless.

The club also received a £200 donation from Tom Hill who runs the Clickerty click community bingo club based in corby. This is a new club which offers a friendly environment for anyone wanting to play bingo within the town.

Last night Hazel-leys club ended the year with a Christmas disco for the children.

They all dressed in festive wear and enjoyed some Christmas songs DJ'd by Olly King Cheeko.

The children then sat down for a hotdog, hot chocolate and some treats.

We were given a donation of fresh fruit and vegetables by George Peel, which we gave out to the children.

We also made up some hampers with the remaining produce for families in need.

When the children were leaving we handed out giant gold chocolate coins donated by the Corby Homeless Project.

The club would like to thank GraciousEvents for their on going support with supplies at events.

Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported us throughout the year in anyway, it's been amazing to see and very appreciated,It's with help like this that we can continue to provide a safe environment for the local children on one of the most deprived areas of the town. The community spirit within corby is just fantastic!

See you all in the New year 2025
