Festive concert brings lots of good cheer
Trinity Singers, a community choir based in Desborough, joined by "Alright Jack", a well-known, local saxophone quartet, united forces once again to raise funds for a local good cause.
This time it was Marlow House in Desborough that was the recipient of proceeds raised through the "Autumn Extravaganza" concert held last Saturday evening at Desborough Baptist Church.
A packed audience enjoyed a mixed programme of music in the first half of the concert from both Trinity Singers and Alright Jack that included a wide range of music from old favourites to exciting new pieces. After the interval, the performers returned, decked in their seasonal finery, and performed a number of Christmas pieces, which included the audience joining in with some favourite carols.
The evening itself, as well as being hugely enjoyable, raised the sum of £515.50 for Marlow House. Trinity Singers and Alright Jack wish to pass on their thanks to everyone who came along to the concert for their attendance, participation and generous support of this very worthy cause.
