Christmas Tree Festival's message of hope

A message of hope is the theme of Kettering-based drug education charity, Hope UK’s ‘In Memoriam’ Christmas tree, which is currently on view to visitors to the Kettering Christmas Tree Festival in St Andrew’s Church.
Hope UK’s tree stands amongst many beautifully decorated trees and celebrates 170 years of equipping young people to lead drug-free lives. The tree commemorates the lives of three young people who tragically lost their lives through drug use; and their family members share their personal motivations for supporting the charity’s work.
Hope UK invites visitors to the festival to remember Jon, Laura and Bobby as they look up to the star at the top of the tree, and as they read their stories.
Opened by Kettering mayor, Councillor Ben Jameson, on 13th December, the Christmas Tree Festival continues to be open for visits on 20th, 23rd and 27th December.
