Wellbeing Care celebrated Great British Care Awards nominations
A care group with facilities in Northamptonshire is celebrating three nominations at the Great British Care Awards.
Wellbeing Care has been nominated as finalists in three categories for the Great British Care Awards 2024, East Midlands Region, being recognised in both the Outstanding Contribution to Social Care, Putting People First and Housing with Care categories.
These nominations are a testament to the ongoing commitment by Wellbeing Care, which runs Meadow View in Irchester, in providing first-class, person-centred care across its homes.
In the Putting People First category, Rahees Chettintavida, Care Home Manager of Meadow View, is specifically recognised for focusing on person-centred care at the home. By combining his medical background with his passion for care Rahees is dedicated to improving the lives of residents by fostering a compassionate, inclusive and supportive environment.

In addition, colleagues were also nominated from Wellbeing Care's home, The Dell in Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft.
The nomination for Patricia Quental, Head of Housekeeping at The Dell, in the Outstanding Contribution to Social Care category reflects a long-standing commitment to the social care sector by Patricia and Wellbeing Care. Patty - as she’s known at The Dell, has been with the team since May 2021 and in that time, has continuously made a positive impact on the residents. Wellbeing Care’s Jane Whittle also received a nomination in the Housing with Care category, which recognises an individual or a team providing person-centred services to vulnerable people living in any kind of supported housing scheme.
Joy Henshaw, regional director of Wellbeing Care, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be finalists in two such fantastic categories at the Great British Care Awards. These nominations reflect the dedication and hard work of every single member of our team. At Wellbeing Care, we are passionate about delivering the very best care, and it’s wonderful to see this being recognised on a regional scale."
