Two Northampton events collaborate to create huge kids all-day play area and food festival

Events companies, Funtopia and Pick N Mix Events are collaborating for the first time to host a fun all-day family event in Northampton - the 'Funtopia Foodstival'.

The festival will take place at Abington Park on July 10, August 7 and September 11 from 11am to 6pm.

The collaborative event will be a combination of a pay-to-play all day children's area and a food festival that will showcase a range of gourmet food, craft ales and live music as well as an arts and crafts area.

Visitors can pay to go to the children's Funtopia area and Foodstival separately or purchase a combined ticket to have access to both areas all day.

The Foodstival will showcase a huge array of delicious foods from burgers and pies to fish and chips as well as a variety of tasty treats including crepes, waffles, ice cream and hot desserts.

There will additionally be pay per go children's rides and activities and stalls set up for local traders. Foodstival tickets start from £1.50 for children aged five to 16-years-old and then £4 for adults. Children under five-years-old go for free.

Children can expect Funtopia to be a fun-packed event where they can enjoy unlimited play on the bouncy castles, activity inflatables, Nerf Wars and various other activities. There will be an under five's area for toddlers where there will be soft play equipment, slides and bouncy castles.

There is something for the older children too - they can compete on the high energy Bungee Run, Inflata-bull and other activity inflatables.

Children two-years-old and under can access Funtopia free of charge. Tickets for children aged two to 12-years-old cost £8 and children aged 13-years-old and over can access Funtopia all day for £10.

A joint wristband to attend both the Foodstival and Funtopia events cost £9 for children aged two to 12-years-old and £4 for adults.

Tickets are available to purchase now; book as early as possible to be guaranteed entry and fast track.

This is going to be the most fun family event for the year!!!!!

Social distancing measures will be in place for this event including maximum user capacity signs, a one way system and a reduced overall capacity. All visitors will be required to provide track and trace information at the entrance and all activities and inflatables will be disinfected throughout the day. There will additionally be hand sanitiser available on site.
