Bon Precision Engineering, a precision engineering specialist based in Thrapston, Northamptonshire, has further strengthened its manufacturing capabilities with the delivery of a brand new Star SD-26 sliding head CNC machine.
Delivered this week and currently being installed and commissioned, the new machine represents a significant investment in capacity for the business. Bon Precision Engineering expects the machine to be fully operational and producing parts by the end of the week.
Founded in 2020, Bon Precision Engineering has continued to grow its customer base across a range of industries by investing in high-quality equipment and skilled engineering expertise. The addition of the Star SD-26 enables the company to take on a wider range of precision work, with machining capability now extended to components up to 26mm diameter.
John Garner, Director at Bon Precision Engineering, said: “This investment allows us to increase our machining capacity and broaden the range of work we can take on. The Star SD-26 gives us the ability to produce precision components up to 26mm diameter, which opens up new opportunities for both existing and new customers. With a busy order book already in place, the machine will be productive from day one.”
The new machine joins Bon Precision Engineering’s existing sliding head CNC capability and supports the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, reliability and customer service.
