Diners reacted with sadness after the shock closure of Exotic Dining in Newland Street, which has dished up spiced delights since it opened in 2010.
In a social media announcement posted last week the restaurant announced it would permanently close on August 18 after making the decision with a ‘heavy heart’.

A spokesman for Exotic Dining told the Northants Telegraph that they were closing because of a number of reasons including financial pressures from inflation, surges in food prices and rising energy costs.
The spokesman said: “We would like to thank everyone for support they have shown us in last 14 years.”
Social media users reacting to the restaurant’s announcement said they were ‘gutted’ to hear about the closure.
