NHS workers and their families enjoyed a free climbing event to say thank you for their 'incredible work' during the coronavirus crisis.

Rock Up, which has seven family climbing locations across the country including Rushden Lakes, re-opened recently after lockdown and wanted to hold a free climbing event for NHS workers and their families to say thank you for the incredible work they did and continue to do during the pandemic.

Rock Up at Rushden Lakes was one of the locations which took part in the event on Monday (August 24).

All spaces for the NHS fun climbing event were snapped up within a few hours of going online and Rock Up says the event was a huge success, with everyone reaching new heights and having mountains of fun together.

Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director for Rock Up, said: “We’re so pleased everyone had such a great time.

"It was great to be able to give a huge Rock Up thank you to our wonderful NHS workers.”

Rock Up is an indoor climbing experience for all ages.
