All spaces for Rock Up’s free climb event to say thank you to the NHS were snapped up in just a few hours after their release.

Rock Up, which has seven family climbing locations across the country including Rushden Lakes, re-opened recently after lockdown and wanted to hold a free climbing event for NHS workers and their families to say thank you for the incredible work they did and continue to do during the pandemic.

Rock Up at Rushden Lakes is one of the locations taking part in the event on August 24.

Mark de Quervain, sales and marketing director for Rock Up, said: "We felt offering NHS staff and their families this free event was the least we could do to say thank you.

"It’s time for them to have mountains of fun with us after months of incredible hard and stressful work they’ve done, often enduring very long hours away for their families and loved ones.”

“We’re delighted that the event has had a huge positive and immediate response and we look forward to seeing everyone enjoying themselves with our teams across the country on

Monday, August 24.”
