Rockingham Speedway office refurb hopes to attract new businesses

Offices at Rockingham Speedway are being given a revamp as the facility progresses its transformation into a vehicle logisitics centre.

On the site of the former Rockingham Motor Speedway, Rockingham Logistics Hub are in the process of refurbishing 40,000 sq ft of serviced office space, with on-site parking, meeting rooms and an executive lounge.

The site's new offshore owners are hoping to encourage new businesses to base themselves at the former raceway which is now transforming into one of UK's largest logistics hubs for fleet vehicle storage and defleet services.The offices are based in the former trackside grandstand which has its own cafe. There are also plans for a new onsite gym.

The Speedway closed at the end of last year after the owners admitted that it could not turn a profit as a racetrack.
