Proaction Martial Arts make Northants history at award ceremony

Local martial arts club Proaction Martial Arts has made history by winning the Customer Commitment Award at the Northamptonshire Business Awards for the second year in a row.
This is the first time any organisation in the county has secured the prestigious award twice, highlighting Proaction’s dedication to excellence and community impact.
The award recognises businesses that go above and beyond in delivering outstanding service, fostering strong relationships with their customers, and creating a positive influence within their communities. For Proaction, these values are at the heart of everything they do.
Tom Nicholson, founder of Proaction Martial Arts, said:
"This achievement is a celebration of everyone involved in Proaction - our incredible instructors, dedicated staff, supportive students, and amazing families. Their commitment, positivity, and trust enable us to deliver the best possible experience every day. Winning this award two years in a row is an incredible honour, and it shows that putting our community first truly makes a difference."
Proaction offers martial arts and personal development programmes for children and adults across multiple locations in Northamptonshire. Beyond teaching martial arts, the club focuses on building confidence, discipline, and resilience, making a real difference in the lives of local families.
In addition to the Customer Commitment Award, both of Proaction’s directors have been named finalists for Business Person of the Year over the last two years, demonstrating the leadership and vision driving the organisation.
The club continues to engage with the local community, hosting events, school workshops, and family activities, ensuring that martial arts is accessible and beneficial to everyone.
Proaction Martial Arts is proud to continue serving Northamptonshire, delivering excellence, inspiring growth, and strengthening community bonds—one class at a time.
