A Corby community, once the UK's largest building site, is continuing to take shape with the opening of five more businesses.

The new estate, which will eventually have more than 5,300 homes, has welcomed the new businesses to their new bases around Holland Square in the district centre.

Although residents had to wait more than ten years for the first shop to open at Priors Hall, the district centre at the heart of the estate is now growing rapidly.

Following the launch of Sainsbury’s Local and Busy Bees Nursery earlier this year, five more new services have now moved in. They are:

Rascal's Barbers – a new men's appointment-based barbershop offering traditional services, latest styles, cut throat shaving and more.

Rutland Veterinary Centre - a vet with up to date equipment, including imaging equipment, laboratory machines for in house blood and urine tests, theatre suite, separate cat and dog kennels and a team, who have already worked within Rutland vets at the group's other surgeries.

Nigel Wakefield, Development Director for Urban & Civic at Priors Hall Park, said: “We’re delighted to welcome five new local businesses to Priors Hall Park’s new district centre. The new shops provide a focal point for the development and help to meet the needs of the community by offering a range of services within walking distance. We’re also currently in discussions with a number of potential occupiers for the remaining retail units and hope to be able to make more announcements soon.”
