Northamptonshire business OneKind Creative shortlisted for the Midlands final of the UK StartUp Awards for using design to make a difference
OneKind Creative has been recognised for it’s mission to help purpose led organisations and charities bring their projects to life through powerful design. OneKind Creative, founded by 23-year-old Daventry resident Olivia Krawczyk, has been announced as a finalist in the StartUp for Good category – celebrating businesses that aim to make a positive difference in the world.
Olivia launched OneKind Creative to offer more than just visually appealing designs. After spending the last few years solo travelling and working on charity projects around the world, she realised the potential of design as a tool for change. Today, she combines bold, thoughtful design with her passion for social justice – helping purpose-led organisations tell their story and grow their impact.

Being shortlisted for this award feels like a huge moment, not only as a young entrepreneur, but as someone who built their business with impact and values at its core. I genuinely care about using design to create change – to break taboos, start conversations, and work on projects that matter most.”

The UK StartUp Awards were launched to spotlight the vibrant start-up scene across the UK. In 2024 alone, 846,000 new businesses were founded – with more than 750 of them being shortlisted across various categories this year. Collectively, these ventures have created over 4,600 jobs and generated annual revenues of £200 million since launching.
The awards are supported nationally by Airwallex, Ideas Fest, Join Talent and V Rum, and judged by a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs and experts. Regional winners will go on to compete in the national final at Ideas Fest – the “Glastonbury for business” – taking place on 12th September 2025 in Hertfordshire.
Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, the creator of the UK StartUp Awards, said:

pioneering innovation, and contributing to prosperity across the UK. This year's finalists embody the very best of entrepreneurial spirit - spotting opportunities and, through dedication, skill, and resilience, turning them into thriving ventures that are making a tangible difference in their industries. More importantly, all the winners will go on to represent their region at the 2025 UK National StartUp Awards final later this year”.
The UK StartUp Awards was created in collaboration with the team behind the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, one of the most successful awards programmes in the UK. The UK
