New appointment expands services of regional commercial property agency
Prop-Search has expanded the range of services it offers to clients with the appointment of James Wilson BA(Hons), DipTP, DMS, MRTPI to head up a new planning department, reinforcing its position as the leading commercial property agent across Northamptonshire and the Midlands.
James has over 30 years experience working in the planning sector specifically in Northamptonshire and surrounding counties. He started his career at Northamptonshire County Council, focusing on economic development and strategic planning, before taking the move to Wellingborough Borough Council and eventually became the Director of Development and Chief Planning Officer. He then created James Wilson Associates and worked for 11 years both in the private and public sectors for a range of clients.

James has led project teams on some of the largest housing developments in Northamptonshire including Stanton Cross, Glenvale Park and Hanwood Park.He also led the assessment of Rushden Lakes Retail Park and was planning expert for the Council at the planning appeal. Alongside major strategic development, James also has in depth experience of small scale commercial, retail and residential applications and appeals.
