The vehicle was bought by Support Adoption for Pets, the animal rescue and pets adoption charity launched in 2006 by Pets at Home which helps thousands of pets get a second chance.

Annie Marriott from Animals In Need in Little Irchester said: "Everyone at Animals In Need would like to say a huge thank you to Support Adoption for Pets for buying us an incredible brand new animal rescue ambulance.

"A big thank you to Rob at Bobcat Graphics and his wonderful graphics team for kindly sign writing it for free."

And she added: "We have had a tow bar fitted so towing our horse trailer won’t be a problem when we need to transport farm animals and ponies."
