Jeyes of Earls Barton has had some help to improve its recycling and environmental credentials from Northamptonshire waste management organisation Cawleys.
The chemist, cafe, museum and shop creates its fair share of waste so is playing its part in protecting the planet by ensuring maximum recycling rates by segregating the rubbish.

Philippa Jeyes-Blackburn, from the family-run chemist, said: “As an environmentally conscious business we are continually looking for ways to help the planet.
"This move to segregated recycling is something we are very excited about.
"Our visitors are on board and are delighted to see that we are recycling all manner of waste.

Anna Cawley, director of customer services at Cawleys, added: “It’s great to help another long-established local business make the switch to segregated recycling.
"Many people don’t realise how important it is to keep different waste streams separate.
"This means items such as paper, card and plastic aren’t contaminated by food or liquid waste.
"The cleaner the waste, the easier it is to recycle and it’s great that Jeyes recognise the importance of this."
