Holiday Inn Express Kettering are celebrating this week as they reach a milestone birthday. Back in June 2009, Holiday Inn Express Kettering opened its doors for the first time and have provided accommodation for many businesses in the local area, as well as providing accommodation for those visiting nearby attractions.

The hotel has survived many hurdles over the years from recession recovery, increased competition, and the recent pandemic.

Sales Coordinator, Allen Tew, stated: "I believe that we have made our way through these obstacles because we understand our clients and we understand what they want when it comes to budget accommodation. Being the largest budget hotel in the area means we are ideal for companies that need accommodation for their employees. We also work with other venues in the area to provide discounted accommodation for their weddings, events, meetings and conferences. For example, we have a great relationship with Wicksteed Park. Our product appeals to many people. It is also a credit to the hard working and amazing staff that we have. Our General Manager, Marie Nickerson, has been with the hotel 14 years and continues to oversee the hotel during our busiest year ever. We also celebrate Kay, our Head of Housekeeping, that has been with us for 15 years."
