Entries are now open for the 2021 Kettering Business Awards after Covid forced last year's to be postponed.

Firms in the borough of Kettering can enter in 10 categories ahead of an awards ceremony, which will take place at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa on Friday, October 8.

Categories include special Covid Recognition Award for this year, recognising how businesses have adapted during the pandemic and gone that extra mile for their communities.

Also included in the line-up this year is a category for businesses who have adapted and increased their digital presence.

This is to recognise how businesses have stood out and delivered results in a crowded market or adapted with an e-commerce presence in the last 12 months.

This year’s awards will be judged by a panel of judges for the first time with business professionals from outside the borough judging the entrants.

Awards founder Simon Cox said: “We are delighted to be bringing the Kettering Business Awards back this year with 10 great categories for businesses within the borough to be recognised after the postponement of 2020.

“It’s important for businesses to get the recognition they deserve especially after the turbulent and unpredictable year of 2020 which has seen businesses innovate and perform in uncertain times.”

“Again, we look forward to celebrating the successes of local business across the borough of Kettering in October and helping to raise some money for a local charity in the process.”
