Vouchers will be up for grabs to celebrate the opening of Rushden's new drive thru Starbucks.

The coffee chain will open its new branch on John Clark Way tomorrow (Thursday), as reported by the Northants Telegraph yesterday.

Operated by Starbucks licensee, EG Group, the store will create 12 new jobs.

To celebrate the opening, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony on opening day and vouchers will be distributed to residents in the local area offering complimentary Starbucks tall handcrafted beverages over the opening weekend (Saturday, February 20, and Sunday, February 21).

Customers will be able to enjoy their favourite Starbucks beverage or try the Winter menu.

Rob Todorov, Starbucks brand manager at EG Group, said: “We are excited to open our new store in Rushden and becoming a part of the local community.

"The team are closely following the latest guidance from both the government and health authorities to keep everyone safe.”

In accordance with the latest government guidance, the store will be ‘to-go’ only.

While seating is not available for use inside our store, customers can still order for drive thru and takeaway.

Starbucks coffee is 99 per cent ethically sourced and accredited by Conservation International under the C.A.F.E. Practices programme.

Starbucks offers a 25p discount to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.

The new store is opening as part of the new service station at the top of John Clark Way where it meets the A6.

Starbucks' opening hours will be 6am until 8pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
