With cocktails made from scratch and lakeside views, it's no surprise that Rushden Lakes' Terrace bar has been busy since re-opening.
Owner Chris Mills couldn't wait to re-open the bar on April 16 following the third lockdown and they have been inundated with bookings since then.
Chris, who is also the franchisee of Flip Out next door, told the Northants Telegraph: "It's been very busy.
"On a Saturday night we are fully booked and got people queuing up the stairs to get in."
While the British weather can be a little unpredictable, the bar has heaters and can provide blankets if you're feeling a bit chilly.
Chris said: "I wouldn't come in t-shirt and shorts, but it's kind of got a beach club feel to it."
Since re-opening, they have added extra things to the menu and will continue to do so in the coming months, with Chris really looking forward to the warmer weather.
He said: "When the summer comes, I think it's going to be roaring.
"We do all our cocktails from scratch and some of them are quite intricate.
"The atmosphere is amazing.
"We have got all the speakers outside and you can't hear it from elsewhere."
And he is delighted with the response from customers since re-opening, saying: "The buzz around it is immense.
"We are fully booked for tables of two and four until May 17.
"We had a waiting list of well over 100, more like 150."
Chris is also really proud of his team for how they have responded to the new way of working to keep both themselves and customers safe.
He said: "The team are very loyal and invested, it's really nice that we have really gelled as a team.
"We have bonded as a team and everybody is on the same page.
"We are very conscious of the Covid rules and situation."
Feedback from customers has included people describing the bar as 'epic' and Chris has also had people saying 'We can't believe this is Rushden.'
Due to the high demand, the bar has extended its opening hours.
These are 6pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, midday to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and midday to 6pm on Sunday.
Anyone who wants to make a booking can do so through The Terrace's Facebook page.
