Revamp planned for Kettering petrol station
A busy Kettering petrol station is set for a new look after plans to demolish and rebuild the kiosk building were revealed.
Morrisons - who recently slashed the price of unleaded to under £1 a litre - has applied to give their Northfield Avenue filling station a revamp.

The supermarket says it would allow them to bake fresh goods on-site and increase what they can offer to customers.
They would also create five customer car parking spaces at the front and provide a new jet wash bay.
In a planning statement, the supermarket chain said: "Morrisons are seeking to increase the size and range of the current offer at this location due to the stand-alone nature of the unit and the ability to offer our customers in the local area the chance to utilise this location as a convenience unit and a quick alternative to a supermarket to complete a ‘top up shop’ while purchasing fuel from the forecourt.
"By doing this, we can encourage customers to make a shorter distance to shop, reducing the carbon footprint and making their lives easier."
A decision on the plan could be made by June 24.
