It will also become a showcase for Made In Northamptonshire so visitors will be able to sample and buy products from local businesses, providing enhanced profile for producers.

Hannah Milne, director of regional at The Crown Estate, said: “We are always looking for ways we can support our communities, and I hope many local people and businesses will benefit from our partnership with East Northamptonshire Council, as we introduce the Recovery Through Enterprise Hub at Rushden Lakes.

“Our Recruit Rushden Lakes scheme, run with the Department of Work and Pensions, will be one of the services based at the hub.

Steven North, leader of ENC, said: “Businesses have been going through a very difficult time so we’re looking to expand the support on offer to help them when they need it most.

“We hope to have the hub up and running soon so that people can access a range of help from our committed partners.
