New Eastern European supermarket for Corby town centre opens

Corby s latest shop has opened in the Oasis Retail Park, making it one of the largest food retailers in the heart of the town centre shopping area.

Poli-Maxx, a supermarket specialising in East European foods, will open seven days a week and has a fresh meat, bakery and fruit and vegetable section.

The parent company also runs two Peterborough stores with its Corby store the first in Northamptonshire.

Dan Pickard, town centre director for Corby, said: "We are delighted to welcome Poli-Maxx to our retail line-up at the Oasis Retail Park in the heart of Corby town shopping and Willow Place.

"Poli-Maxx is open seven days a week and offers a fabulous range of food, drinks, fresh meats, vegetables and produce form across Europe and across the world.

"It's a brilliant addition to to the Oasis Retail Park and to the whole town centre. It has a brilliant bakery, fresh fruit and veg and a wide selection of meats.

"As a sausage fan from Lincolnshire, I'm really pleased with the choice on offer."

As well as Eastern European specialities there is a wide selection of Asian vegetables and UK goods.
