The Bean Hive will be open til late tonight before lockdown

A Kettering shop will be open right up until lockdown rules come in at midnight.

The Bean Hive will be open for shoppers until 11.59pm tonight for last minute Christmas shopping before lockdown rules are imposed.

The independent shop posted on Facebook and said: "Non-essential retail to shut from Thursday, so The Bean Hive is here til 11.59pm tonight.

Davina at The Bean Hive will be welcoming late-night shoppers before lockdown

"We may have gone a bit nuts but we love our shop being open, so we're making the most of it."

The shop was open until 9pm yesterday (Tuesday, November 3) and said it had an amazing day with many people making the most of the late night opening.

The Bean Hive said: "Come grab a drink and let us help you with your Christmas shopping. Keep it local, support your local high streets adapted shopping methods through this second lockdown - we need you now more than ever."

The Bean Hive launched a website during the last lockdown which you can find here.

Customers can order online and there is free local delivery for NN15 and NN16 postcodes.
