Pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and more across the Kettering borough have signed up to the Government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced establishments could register to join the scheme to encourage people to go out to eat and give the economy a boost after venues were closed for months because of the Covid-19 crisis.

Under the scheme, diners can get up to 50 per cent off their food and non-alcoholic drinks - up to a total of £10 per person - if they eat or dine in.

It applies on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between August 3 and August 31 and people can take advantage of it as many times as they like.

You don’t need a voucher to use the scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend but alcoholic drinks and service charges are excluded from the offer.

Today (Monday) HMRC revealed which establishments have signed up to the scheme but there is no exhaustive list, with diners putting a postcode in to find which venues are near them.
