Cafe at garden centre near Wellingborough re-opening tomorrow

Customers will be able to grab a coffee as well as items for the garden when the cafe re-opens at Cherry Lane garden centre tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Watering Can bistro café at the Podington garden centre is set to re-open tomorrow (July 8) and will be serving freshly produced meals, snacks, teas, coffees as well as cakes and pastries.

Hide AdGroup operations director, Karl Ottolangui, said: “We are particularly happy to be able to re-open the Watering Can bistro café, albeit with a slightly reduced menu for the time being.
“Since Cherry Lane re-opened, we have been delighted to welcome back all our former customers as well as a very healthy number of new customers.
"Like so many of us, people of all ages have been spending a lot longer in their gardens and discovering how much pleasure can be gained from gardening.
"We are very pleased they have discovered Cherry Lane and our value guaranteed offering as well.”

Hide AdRichard Durrant, manager at Cherry Lane in High Street, Podington, added: “We have missed having the café open at the garden centre and I know that our customers will be pleased to see it up and running again.
"It’s a great place to relax and has always been popular with our customers.”
Bosses at Cherry Lane say the safe social distancing markers which have been established at the garden centre have been well accepted, and that customers have been responding extremely well to the arrangements.
