As a form of Swansgate’s gratitude, Moira was rewarded with a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a handful of her favourite goodies.
Moira said: “I am totally overwhelmed to have been nominated for this.
"Thank you very much.
"I am so lucky to have so much support from our committee, volunteers and the whole community.
"It is a privilege to be able to work together to build our community."
Jo Chapman, Swansgate Shopping Centre marketing manager, said: "We’re extremely grateful to have people like Moira in our local community.
"She goes above and beyond to make positive changes like arranging food parcels for the homeless and organising presents for children during the Christmas period."
