Finedon Community Centre is inviting people from across the area to two upcoming February events, with a Valentine’s Barn Dance and a family-friendly Brick, Build & Show weekend both taking place at the centre.

Finedon Community Centre is all about bringing people together, and this February the volunteer committee behind the centre is doing just that with two events designed to give people a great reason to get out, try something different and enjoy something local.

Run as a charity and supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, the centre hosts a wide range of activities, groups and events throughout the year, from regular clubs and classes to special one-off events that are all about connection, fun and community.

The first event is the Valentine’s Barn Dance on Saturday, 14th February at 7pm.

With live music from Kelly’s Eye, dancing, food and a licensed bar, it promises to be a really fun and relaxed night out, perfect for couples, friends or anyone who fancies something a bit different this Valentine’s.

Tickets are £17.50 plus booking fee and can be booked online at: https://buytickets.at/finedoncommunitycentre/1972848

Later in the month, families are invited to Brick, Build & Show on Saturday, 28th February and Sunday,1st March, from 10am to 4pm.

With brick displays, building activities, competitions and over 1,400 kits available to build, there’s plenty to keep children (and adults!) busy. The event is organised by the 2nd Desborough (URC) Scout Group. Entry is £5 per person, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
