Music lovers and the wider community are invited to experience an evening of powerful choral music this Easter, as The Salvation Army in Kettering hosts a special Easter Choral Celebration.

Taking place on Saturday 4 April at 7pm at The Salvation Army Kettering, the concert will feature the Kettering Community Choir, accompanied by orchestra and joined by guest soloists, under the direction of Musical Director Richard Phillips.

The programme brings together a rich and moving selection of choral works, including Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, Gloria by John Rutter, and Jesus Victorious by Richard Phillips. Together, these pieces offer a journey through reflection, hope and celebration, capturing the essence of the Easter story through music.

The evening is designed to be both uplifting and accessible, welcoming seasoned concertgoers and those experiencing live choral music for the first time. With its blend of orchestral richness, choral depth and solo performances, the event promises a memorable and inspiring experience for all.

Captain David Donaldson, church leader at Kettering Citadel Salvation Army, said: “This concert is an opportunity to pause and reflect through the beauty of music. Each piece has been carefully chosen to express the depth and hope of the Easter message, and we are delighted to share it with the community here in Kettering.”

Tickets are priced at £10, with free entry for young people aged 16 and under, making it an affordable evening for families and individuals alike.
