Perfect Resonance Concert on Saturday, 24th May at 7pm in The Salvation Army Worship Hall

The eighteen mixed voices in Perfect Resonance Choir will be dedicating their concert to Velma Jones who was a loved and valued member of the soprano section of the choir.

The first half of the programme will be staged and choreographed - Velma loved to feature in this type of performance, and she loved to join in with all the banter which she often initiated.

During the second half, the choir will be singing some of Velma's favourite songs including "Mr Blue Sky" (ELO), "The Colours of My Life" (from the musical "Barnum") and "I Will Sing with the Spirit" (John Rutter).

There will be no charge for entry to the concert - donations to the Royal Air Force Association will be collected before the concert and during the interval. Velma spent many years living on different RAF bases when her husband did his military service. She supported the local RAFA, and all donations will be presented to the RAFA (Rushden Branch) at the end of the concert.
