A trio of award winning comics, are making their way to Islip, as part of another collaboration between two local comedy promoters.
Northampton comedy giants The Comedy Crate, and Rutland laughter specialist Hats Funny Comedy, which is run by the MC on the bill Ian Hayes, are coming together once again, as they bring TV level comedians together, with the very best in up and coming talent.
The show is opened by Mad Ron. The self proclaimed “3rd hardest man in Uxbridge” has been wowing audiences since 2016, with his tales of criminal activity and anecdotes from behind the wall, picking up award nominations from Edinburgh and Leicester fringe festivals.
He is followed by one of the finest up and coming comedy talents, in the shape of multi award winning Sallyann Fellowes. 2023 Leicester Square new comedian of the year Sallyann, has made an incredible impact on the comedy circuit, with plaudits from professionals such as Zoe Lyon’s and Jen Brister.
Closing the show is London based comedian and doctor, Michael Akadiri. The inaugural winner of the Komedia New Comedy Award, Michael also starred in the London finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2021. His talented, cheeky and observational style has led to performances on TV, and seen him regularly performing at comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and Glee.
The MC for the evening is Ian Hayes. The banter filled comic who was brought up in Northamptonshire, and a former Thrapston resident, is the man behind the Hats Funny Comedy brand. Having picked up the mic just over 4 years ago, Ian is now an in demand MC and compère, trusted to oversee professional nights across the country.
