Police hunt key witness after fight in Northampton restaurant ends with man seriously injured

Detectives investigating a brawl at a Northampton restaurant have released a CCTV image of a possible witness they believe could give them key information.
A 30-year-old man was seriously injured during the fight inside the Ginza Japanese eaterie in Wellingborough Road, back in February.

Hide AdThe victim is now recovering but officers looking into the incident believe the man pictured could help their investigation.
A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The incident took place between 11.50pm on Saturday, February 22, and 12.30am on Sunday, February 23, when a 30-year-old man sustained a serious injury after a fight broke out inside the Ginza bar. He is now recovering from his injuries.
"Officers investigating the incident believe this man may have information which could assist with them, and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him, to get in touch."
