The tour, which will see some of the world’s best female cyclists racing through the county, takes place on Wednesday, starting in Daventry at 11am and finishing in Kettering at about 3pm.

Due to the route including parts of East Northants, some bin collections will be affected.

A spokesman for East Northants Council said: “The women’s cycle tour is back and will be coming through the district on June 7.

“Because of this, regular household recycling, food and garden waste collections in Aldwincle, Barnwell, Clopton, Fayway, Hemmington, Lilford, Luddington, Pilton, Stoke Doyle, Thurning, Titchmarsh, Wadenhoe, Wigsthorpe and Oundle will be moved from Wednesday, June 7, to Saturday, June 10.

“Garden waste collections scheduled for Thursday, June 8, will be collected as normal.

“Thank you for your assistance.”
