Rayner and Skerryvore at Castle
Her latest album August was released last year and recorded live at London’s Vortex Jazz Club.
The LP has received rave reviews from across the jazz world. Rayner combines influences including bebop, folk and Afro-Cuban dance music.

Rayner plays the Wellingborough venue on Thursday, March 3.
Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost £12.50.
Next Friday, Scottish Celtic rockers Skerryvore headline the venue.
Last year, they released the album Decade which was a collection of live tracks and previously un-released acoustic versions of some of their back catalogue. The band’s 2010 self titled album won a string of prestigious awards including the SNMA Record of the Year.
