Mixed news for Saints after England duo are withdrawn at Clermont
Jim Mallinder has revealed Courtney Lawes was withdrawn at half-time at Clermont Auvergne because of a shoulder injury.
And the director of rugby is not sure how serious the England lock’s problem is.
However, there is good news on Alex Corbisiero, who took a bang to the leg and was replaced by Alex Waller during the second half.

“Courtney got a bang to his shoulder in the first half so that’s why we took him off. We don’t know (how serious it is).”
