All the goals came in the second half with Adam Dalby opening the scoring on 51 minutes and the advantage was doubled when Jason Turner converted a penalty after he had been fouled.
And it was Turner who rounded it off with his second of the game.
It was a tough day for Wellingborough Town, however, as they suffered a heavy 7-1 defeat at third-placed Rugby Town.

Lewis O’Dell gave the Lankies the lead but the hosts hit back to lead 3-1 before Jake Reynolds’ late goal proved to be only a consolation.
