The margin for error is getting smaller for Corby
The Steelmen remain top of the table as they gear up for a trip to take on Biggleswade this weekend.
But the battle for the sole automatic promotion place now looks to be out of their hands after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Daventry Town in the Northamptonshire derby at Steel Park last Saturday.

The margin for error is getting smaller and smaller for the Steelmen.
And joint-boss Robinson said: “This is the business end of the season as everyone knows and we can’t afford many slip-ups.
“But, at the same time, you never know what’s going to happen in this league.

“It’s crucial that in the next couple of games we get points on the board.
“We have to stop worrying about teams around us and focus on getting three points week on week and then seeing where it takes us at the end of the season.”
Robinson was far from impressed with the performance his team served up last weekend as they needed an Elliot Sandy goal to secure a point after Adam Creaney had given Daventry the lead.

“Last weekend was very frustrating, I don’t think we played anywhere near our capabilities,” Robinson added..
“From the second half at St Neots (in the 3-1 win) on the Tuesday to the whole game on Saturday, it was a massive difference.
“We didn’t come out of the blocks in either half, we didn’t win first or second balls and that has a knock-on effect.

“There might be one or two coming in and one or two going out over the next couple of weeks because I think we need to strengthen in certain areas.
“But we have got to bounce back again and it’s not going to be an easy test at Biggleswade.
“However, if we want to get to where we want to be at the end of the season then we have to go away to places like this and get three points."
