Stohrer signs contract with Poppies
Having been part of the Poppies’ title-winning team in the Southern League Premier Central, Stohrer established himself as the club’s first-choice right-back in the National League North last season under both Nicky Eaden and current manager Paul Cox.
Stohrer, along with other members of last season’s squad, had already agreed fresh terms for the next campaign.

And boss Cox insists Stohrer is a shining example of the sort of player he wants at Latimer Park.
“Gary is the type of player who is the blueprint for what we want,” Cox said.
“He has been a model of consistency since I have been here. He was Mr Reliable, he just did his job in every game.

“He has been brilliant to work with and he is what I want at the club. He is as honest as the day is long and a model of consistency and it’s consistency that gets you success.
“For him to commit to the club is great news and we want more like him because he ticks a lot of the boxes for what we are looking for as a management team.”
